The FAANG

McCauley Steele, Co-founder of Bull and Bear Brew, asked for your help naming our new hot chocolate. Option number one is “The FAANG.”

We hope you had fun hearing your kids answers on what they thought it meant. Like McCauley said, it’s not a big sharp tooth. The FAANG is actually an acronym that refers to the stocks of five well-known American technology companies: Facebook (FB), Amazon (AMZN), Apple (AAPL), Netflix (NFLX), and Google (GOOG). The term was created in 2013 by Jim Cramer, CNBC’s Mad Money television host, who recognized these businesses for being “totally dominant in their markets.” The five FAANG stocks are among the largest corporations in the world.

Please share those fun answers from your kids in the comments section of our Instagram post…we all know kids have creative imaginations.
